Minute Meetings

18th November 

1. Today we finished of the story line to are opening sequence and started the story board to prepare for our mock shoot on Thursday. 

2. We need to finish the location sheet to work out where we are filming on Thursday as well as the story boards

3. Working out the beginning of our opening sequence and finishing the of the storyline went well, we could of maybe got a few more shots down on our story board and possibly come up with a name for the film.

19th November 

1.We changed the ending of our opening sequence and the pub scene as well as finishing the storyboard and also finish the location sheet

2.We completed all of our targets from yesterday except we need draw the shots onto the storyboard 

3.We need to finish the storyboard, but i think we managed to get all are other targets completed.

 20th November 

1.We filmed a mock shoot of are thriller in chronological order 

2.To edit together the mock shoot 

3.We managed to get all the shots but they weren’t exactly they way we wanted them to look like. Some shots didn't come out quite as we wanted them to

24th November

1. We changed our idea so rather than just doing an apartment scene and a pub scene we are just going to have it all in the apartment. We are also going to have a little boy and a father rather than two men

2. We need to re do our story board and finish it.

3. We need to work on the ending in order to create suspence.

26th November

 1. Matt gave us feedback on our opening sequence. make it less confusing

2. Think of scene both the dad and the son can do to link up.

3. The main story was good but it was a bit to much to fit into two minutes.

8th december 

Today we casted the roles for our thriller. So far we have decided to use Luke (boy in peaslake) as the young boy, Phil as the dad (media teacher), Adam as Robber 1 (media teacher) and we now to need find 2 more teachers.
We need find one other teacher to cast as the second robber.
We also need to figue out how to get a bank vault and whether we are going to make one or come up with another solution.
For the costumes we have decided to have the 4 men is suits and masks. We are thinking of having them in masks of famous people or animas because using a balaclava is going to look very dated.
Next time we need to decide where we are going to film and how we are going to go about filming the bank vault scene.

10th December 

We focused on costumes in our meeting today. We have decide to go with hockey masked for the armed robbers. We think this will work well because they look creepy and keep the thriller vibe. 
We are still unsure what to do about the bank vault. We are thinking we are going to have to buy a small one and be clever about the camera angles and editing or build one.
We decided we want the 4 robbers in suits.

We need to decide where to film the apartment with the little boy in.

14/01/15

Today we decided to plot the story and do a full outline.

We think we need to make the cast sightly smaller as we can’t get all the teachers that we need.

In our next meeting we need to  finalise the cast and decide who we shall ask as back ups.

16/01/15

We have decided who want to use as our cast and have sent an email to each person asking if they will be in our thriller.

We now need to focus on our props and set design list.

Hockey masks need to be ordered 

17/01/15

We completed a prop list in todays meeting.  We ordered the hockey masks but need to think about whether we want to paint on them or leave them. We are thinking about doing a different symbol on each one. We have asked the media department for guns for each character. We tried ordering a shotgun but they were too expensive or a licence was needed.

We are borrowing the headmasters car to film the crash.

18/01/15

Everyone in our cast have confirmed that they will participate and we have all the costumes sorted. We need to make sure there are enough guns for each man to have one so will have to check with the media department.

We still havent decided 100% where we are going to film. Because the scene is in the middle of a road it cant be a public road so it will need to be a private one. We will possibly have to film on a road at Hurtwood.

19/01/15

Today we have come up with the designs for the masks. We are thinking of doing them each slightly different and a different colour. We are going to do one black, one white and one with a red stripe.

Next meeting we need to focus on where we are going to film.
