Task 1: Conventions of a website.

In the current day there are many basics of what you would see in every high level industry website, such as a home page, social network links, tour dates which link to where you can buy them, Photo galleries and music videos. Some less common things you see are community boards where fans can interact with each other. When creating our website we added all the necessity needed to create an easy to use website with lots of different functions. We started at the home page where its important to promote your artist as much as possible as this is what new visitors will see first, this is common with most websites so this is why we chose to show a picture of our artist as well as promote her new album and link to where people can go buy it. We also placed the new music video straight below this so people have easy access to her new work, we also place social links at the bottom of the page so people can interact and see what our artist are up to.
