Location Scouting

A major part of research for our music video is finding the right location to film our third concept. Our original idea was to film in a sea side town at around dusk till night time while following the girls dancing and having fun on the street. We realised this would be hard to do because of street regulations as well as being late at night, So instead we found a empty swimming pool in a decaying old room which we thought could look very abstract and cool at the same time. The good thing about the pool is that it links with the ferrofluid as they both relate to liquids, making different parts of the music video tie in. Lucy got some photos of the room and the pool to work out dimensions and if there is enough space for the girls to dance in, these can be seen below.


 

From the pictures you can see that the location is quite abstract and run down with the peeling walls and weird wallpaper. The only thing we need to do is to come up with ideas other than dancing the girls can do in the room.
